Shoot Three - Straight Images

I photographed this image in my local town of Waltham Abbey, this shoot number three was inspired by Stieglitz and his images of the sky. By converting my image into black and white a sinister tone is elicited from this image, as the light blue becomes a dark black, I used the curves tool in order to make this image darker as a whole.

Within this image the clouds appear to be swaying in a turning motion, creating a connotation in the viewers mind that a storm may be brewing within the sky, this would also symbolise anger or frustration in the viewer's mind as storms can be linked to this emotion through raining (tears), and lightening (frustration/anger.)

I photographed this image in my local town of Waltham Abbey, this shoot number three was inspired by Stieglitz and his images of the sky. The black and white conversion of colour was done in Photoshop, this allowed me to expose the line which cuts through the bottom half of the image, this line was left behind by a plane, this therefore symbolises that pollution has a lasting impact on our earths atmosphere and wellbeing; subsequently the connotation is made in the viewer's mind of the plane line being linked to a scar. I edited this image by using the white balance tool, and the converting the image into blackened white before using the curves tool to make my image slightly darker.

I photographed this image in my local town of Waltham Abbey, this shoot number three was inspired by Stieglitz and his images of the sky. The once blue sky was converted into black and white, making the blue a dark black; the black colouring creates negative connotations in the audience's minds as they cannot see what may be coming out of the sky. The black background and the white clouds could symbolise smoke in the night, as the white clouds are faded and not crisp like smoke, meanwhile the black sky is similar to a skyline at night time.

I photographed this image in my local town of Waltham Abbey, this shoot number three was inspired by Stieglitz and his images of the sky. The black and white edit which I applied to this image in Photoshop allowed me to create further ambiguity within my photograph, as by removing the blue colouring of the sky, this makes it harder for the individual to deduces this is the sky.
