Shoot Seven - Straight Images

This photograph is almost angelic as the orange skyline creates a warm tone in the viewer, which eventually fades into a cool blue which then creates a feel of calm, with the soft clouds caressing the skyline also. The line which breaks up the image is a plane's trail this is significant as it links to my theme of 'nature' through pollution, as planes create a a large amount of pollution in our skies.

This image is one of my favourite, as the skyline is blocked by huge electrical man-made electricity line, this represents how man-made objects ruin our beautiful skylines and our perceptions of 'natural' beauty. Moreover, the sun is struggling to be seen, suggesting that nature is slowly fading out- likewise to the clouds slowly covering the sun in this image.

The blues and oranges in this image are complimentary colours, subsequently they're aesthetically pleasing. The buildings that are blacked out into silhouettes which implies the beauty of the sky is overpowering any man-made structures which try to rise above and block the magical sky- this may also correspond to everyday life situations.

The orange, purple and blue colours within this photograph cover the whole sky boldly making a colourful display. Plane trails are seen in the centre of the sky, this links to the theme of nature as planes cause pollution and affect nature greatly; therefore the sky's unusual colouring may link to it's anger and disgust that it has just been scarred by a plane, which greatly affects the sky itself (ozone layer.)
