Shoot Nine - Straight Images

All of the images below were photographed in the studio, and they're all images of the object- a seasonal squash. I wasted to explore this object as I was inspired by Nadege's photograph of a pumpkin, therefore I wanted to explore this texture in my shoot, through the stringy matter which hangs from the roof of the object. I placed a side light entering the squash to show that depth was occurring within this rounded object. I believe my images explore various angles of the object, and the use of the low key lighting enhances the showing created, which again highlights the depth within these images. In the majority of my images the stringy matter hanging from the roof of the squash works effectively, as it aids the creation of depth and texture within the squash.
