Vignette:
The image above is my original photograph, whereas the image below is post-edit. I edited my image through creating a vignette, I wanted to create this in order to centre the viewer's focus onto the tree in the middle further; therefore, I believe that by making the outer areas of the image darker this also adds a more sinister tone to the image, as the trees are now black. The colour black has negative connotations like death and loss of identity, the fact that the viewer cannot see any detailing on the trees emphasises their loss of identity- symbolising how nature has lost its identity in our world.
